The Art of the Game,” the exhibition open at ARCUB – Hanul Gabroveni, continues in November with a series of events for audiences interested in how video games are built, offering an expanded look beyond the main exhibition path.
Organized by ARCUB – the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Bucharest and curated by Elvira Lupșa, TAG offers a broad perspective on video games beyond entertainment: as a form of visual expression, as a complex technological product, and as a tool for education and communication between generations.
The free-access events scheduled for November bring dozens of professionals — artists, programmers, producers, and game designers from Romania — into direct dialogue with the public about the careers behind video games, the creative processes, the real challenges, and the global evolution of this industry.
Attendance is free, based on prior registration.
“In a context where national educational programs barely address the needs of young people interested in careers in game development, TAG acts both as a platform that increases visibility for this industry and as a real opportunity for empowerment through education adapted to the field’s current demands,” said Georgiana Toea, TAG EDU organizer and Community Builder at AMC Studio.
