The actors portraying Benedict Bridgerton, Sophie Baek, Lady Violet Bridgerton and Francesca Bridgerton will meet fans at the Bridgerton Masquerade Ball, held at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest, to celebrate the launch of the fourth season of Bridgerton. The Regency-era inspired event will take place on 19 February.
Following the release of the first part of Bridgerton season 4, audiences were introduced to a new chapter in the story, defined by a modern “Cinderella”-style romance between Benedict and Sophie, sparked by a mysterious encounter at a grand masquerade ball.
Netflix invites fans to take the experience beyond the screen by attending the Bridgerton Masquerade Ball. Scheduled for 19 February, the event is designed as a love letter to fans, inviting Romanian audiences to step into the world of Bridgerton. As the first event of its kind held in Romania, the ball also offers a rare opportunity to meet cast members from the popular Netflix series in person.
The Bridgerton Masquerade Ball will be attended by Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict Bridgerton, Yerin Ha, who brings Sophie Baek to life, as well as Ruth Gemmell, returning as Lady Violet Bridgerton, and Hannah Dodd, who portrays Francesca Bridgerton.
The Bridgerton Masquerade Ball celebrates the fourth season of Bridgerton, which premieres on Netflix in two parts. Episodes 1–4 are already available, while episodes 5–8 are set to be released on 26 February.
Produced by Shondaland and showrunner Jess Brownell, Bridgerton returns with its fourth season focused on the free-spirited Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), the second son of the Bridgerton family. Despite his mother Lady Violet’s insistence, Benedict resists settling down. However, at a masquerade ball hosted by Violet, he becomes enchanted by a mysterious woman dressed in silver and wearing a mask.
With the reluctant help of his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Benedict sets out to uncover the young woman’s identity. In reality, the woman who captured his heart is not a member of high society, but a resourceful maid named Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), who works for the formidable Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung).
When fate brings Benedict and Sophie together again, he finds himself torn between his growing affection for the captivating servant and his obsession with the mysterious lady in silver—unaware that they are one and the same. Will Benedict’s inability to see the truth threaten the undeniable spark between them? And can love triumph in a society that rejects romantic relationships across social classes?
Benedict’s journey is influenced by the marriages of his siblings, including Francesca (Hannah Dodd) to John Stirling (Victor Alli), and Colin (Luke Newton) to Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), who now faces new challenges as a publicly known society gossip columnist.
