The show “Aladdin in Concert Live to Film” will take place at Sala Palatului on October 10, starting at 6:30 PM. The original Disney movie will be screened in full — dubbed in Romanian — on a large LED screen, while the Valahia Symphony Orchestra, made up of 52 musicians and conducted by Andrei Ștefan Racu, will perform live the Oscar, Golden Globe, and Grammy-winning score composed by Alan Menken.
On stage, audiences will see Armand Calotă (Genie), Ana Cebotari (Jasmine), Silvian Vâlcu (Aladdin), and Lucian Ghimiși (the Narrator).
“We invite both children and adults to step into this magical world and enjoy, for nearly two hours, the charm of live music, the performance of the Romanian voice actors, and of course, the projection of the beloved animated film. The movie plays on screen while we sing live, accompanied by a symphony orchestra under maestro Andrei Ștefan Racu’s baton. It’s something truly special because you experience the story in real time,” said Armand Calotă, the Romanian voice of the Genie.
The concert lasts approximately 120 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.
“It’s a show for all ages. Whether you’re seven or seventy, you’ll enjoy it just the same. Disney has that unique gift of touching everyone’s heart,” added actor Armand Calotă.
Tickets for Disney – Aladdin in Concert Live to Film are still available on iabilet.ro, with discounted prices as part of the ‘Back to School’ offer.
The event is part of the Disney Concerts international tour, which brings some of the world’s most beloved animated stories to life through live symphonic performances.
