Victory Avenue becomes a pedestrian promenade again on the Weekend of August 2–3, in a new edition of the “Open Streets – Bucharest, Urban Promenade” project
Along the pedestrian route of Calea Victoriei, visitors are invited to enjoy open-air artistic and cultural experiences in a vibrant urban holiday atmosphere:
- Art on Canvas, in the Heart of the City – The Kretzulescu Park area transforms into an open creative space, with live painting demonstrations organized by the Bucharest Visual Artists Association;
- Walking Through History and Heritage – At the Filipescu-Cesianu House, the permanent exhibitions of the Bucharest City Museum offer fascinating journeys through the ages and the preserved frescoes of the Văcărești Monastery;
- Interactive Evenings with Prizes – In front of the Odeon Theatre, the public is invited to take part in the Yellow Quiz Evenings, a series of contests with prizes offered by Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
“Open Streets – Bucharest, Urban Promenade” is an invitation to rediscover the city on foot and to experience it at the natural pace of a summer weekend. Once again, Calea Victoriei becomes a space of community, curiosity, and the simple joys of urban life.
