Train traffic on the Bucharest North – Henri Coandă Airport route will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday to Friday for maintenance works carried out by CFR SA. During the period when these works take place, STB will provide alternative passenger transport by reinstating the express bus line 780.

The National Railway Company CFR S.A. announced on Saturday that between October 14–17, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., specialized personnel from the Bucharest Regional Railway Branch will perform technical maintenance and biannual inspections on the electromechanical turnout and track switch systems, in accordance with railway regulations, on the Bucharest North – Henri Coandă International Airport (T1) line.

As a result, train traffic will be temporarily suspended on the Bucharest North – Pajura – Mogoșoaia – Henri Coandă Airport Terminal (T1) route between October 14–17, during the mentioned hours. Service will resume daily at 2:00 p.m., once the maintenance work is completed.

During this period, the Bucharest Transport Company (STB S.A.) will ensure alternative transport for passengers by reintroducing express bus line 780, which will operate between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., with departures every 30 minutes from the Basarab Station and Henri Coandă Airport terminals.

The works are part of CFR S.A.’s periodic maintenance program, aimed at keeping the railway infrastructure in optimal operational condition and ensuring traffic safety.
