The worship of the faithful inside the Holy Altar of the National Cathedral will conclude on Wednesday at midnight (24:00).
Between November 6 and 14, the National Cathedral will be open daily for visitors, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., according to an announcement from the Romanian Patriarchate.
From November 15 to 29, the Cathedral will be closed to allow the continuation of interior works (mosaic painting and installations).
On November 30, the feast day of Saint Andrew the Apostle, the Protector of Romania and of the National Cathedral, the Cathedral will be open for the Divine Liturgy (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.).
On December 1, Romania’s National Day, the Cathedral will be open for the Te Deum service of thanksgiving, and on December 2, it will be open again for visitors.
However, between December 3 and 23, the Cathedral will be closed once more for the continuation of interior works.
Between December 24, 2025, and January 8, 2026, the Cathedral will be open daily for visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On the days when the National Cathedral is closed, pilgrims may pray at the Chapel of the National Salvation Cathedral, located nearby.
The Romanian Patriarchate extends its gratitude to the volunteers, clergy, and gendarmes who made considerable efforts, day and night, throughout the 11 days of pilgrimage.
