The promotional film for the city of Bucharest will be launched during the Romanian Film Days organized by Strada Film International.

The project is a digital catalog that briefly inventories filming locations across the capital, developed as part of the Program for Accelerating the Digitalization of Film Production and Distribution, under Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The initiative aims to increase the visibility of Romania for foreign film producers and attract international film projects to the local industry.

“We are honored to present this material for the first time on a cinema screen during the Romanian Film Industry Days, and we welcome other similar efforts. We believe there is a significant need for investment in promoting our country in the film production sector. Romania has demonstrated great potential, proven by both the recent festival selections of local films and the international projects developed here,” said Ruxandra Slotea, production director at Strada Film International.

The event hosting the presentation will take place at the Cinema of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant on August 29, 2025, and is organized by the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant.
