Passengers using the rail link between Gara de Nord and Henri Coandă International Airport should account for temporary changes to the train schedule. CFR Călători has announced the suspension of several services due to railway infrastructure works carried out by CNCF CFR SA.

The measure is in effect from May 26 to 29, 2026, and affects 12 of the 48 trains that run daily on this route.

"Due to railway infrastructure works on the București Nord – Henri Coandă International Airport line, carried out by the railway infrastructure manager CNCF CFR SA, some of the trains operated by CFR Călători on this route will be temporarily suspended," Bucharest Airports representatives stated in a message published on Facebook.

The suspended trains include services departing from Gara de Nord between 09:50 and 15:10, as well as several return trains from the airport to Bucharest.

The suspended trains are:

• R-M 7919 București Nord 09:50 → Henri Coandă Airport 10:11
• R-M 7921 București Nord 11:10 → Henri Coandă Airport 11:31
• R-M 7922 Henri Coandă Airport 10:32 → București Nord 10:57
• R-M 7923 București Nord 12:30 → Henri Coandă Airport 12:51
• R-M 7924 Henri Coandă Airport 11:52 → București Nord 12:17
• R-M 7925 București Nord 13:50 → Henri Coandă Airport 14:11
• R-M 7926 Henri Coandă Airport 13:12 → București Nord 13:37
• R-M 7927 București Nord 14:30 → Henri Coandă Airport 14:51
• R-M 7928 Henri Coandă Airport 14:32 → București Nord 14:57
• R-M 7929 București Nord 15:10 → Henri Coandă Airport 15:31
• R-M 7930 Henri Coandă Airport 15:12 → București Nord 15:37
• R-M 7932 Henri Coandă Airport 15:52 → București Nord 16:37

According to airport representatives, the remaining 36 CFR Călători trains will run as normal.

"The remaining 36 CFR Călători trains on this route will run according to the usual schedule. We recommend checking the train timetable in advance and allowing extra time for transfers to and from the airport," the online message added.
