The “Open Doors at Cotroceni Palace” event, launched by the Presidential Administration in March, is set to become a permanent program, with a new format to take effect starting June 14.

During the Pentecost weekend, access to the Cotroceni Palace complex will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday (June 7–8). On Friday, June 6, visitors will only be able to access the Cotroceni National Museum, via the entrance on Șoseaua Cotroceni.

The Presidential Administration confirmed on Wednesday that the event will continue on a regular basis and that a new visitation structure will be introduced mid-June.

The “Open Doors” initiative, which began in March, allows members of the public to freely explore select areas of the Cotroceni Palace complex, offering free admission and guided access to one of Romania’s most important historical and institutional landmarks.
