The first edition of the Neversea Kapital Festival, held from Friday to Sunday at Bucharest’s National Arena, attracted over 152,000 attendees, according to the organizers.
On the third day of the festival, more than 47,000 people came out for performances by Lost Frequencies, Mëstiza, John Summit, Steve Aoki, Alok, and Korolova. One of the most anticipated sets was the Mëstiza duo, delivering a complex show blending flamenco and house, marked by a distinct artistic identity.
Lost Frequencies, a DJ and producer deeply appreciated in Romania, took the MainStage and energized the crowd with a highly engaging performance.
Alok received a warm welcome, as always, with fans excited to witness his first show ever in Bucharest.
On the Temple Stage, the highlight of the night was John Summit, the U.S. house music superstar considered a “must-have” on the lineups of the world’s biggest festivals, and one of the most influential figures in the electronic dance music industry.
The Ark Stage featured performances on Sunday from Grasu XXL, IDK, Rava, Oscar, as well as Johny Romano and Rareș.
Also on Sunday, audiences enjoyed a drone show, one of the first of its kind in Romania.
Organizers have already announced the second edition of Kapital, which will return in July 2026, again at Bucharest’s National Arena. The festival promises to level up, featuring live shows powered by UNTOLD. Tickets are available at neversea.com.
KAPITAL is now the first large-scale event organized by UNTOLD Universe in Romania’s capital. The first edition featured a stellar lineup of EDM and techno giants including Axwell, Paul Kalkbrenner, Alok, Salvatore Ganacci, Steve Aoki, Claptone, Tujamo, Sickick, as well as John Summit, Charlotte de Witte, Deborah de Luca, Nina Kraviz, and Mau P.
The UNTOLD Universe group is also gearing up for the 10-year anniversary edition of the mega UNTOLD festival in Cluj-Napoca and for the second edition of UNTOLD Dubai.
