The Suflet de România Festival will take place on April 26 and 27 on the Royal Estate of Săvârșin. Small local producers will take part and there will be workshops with skilled craftsmen, an open-air cinema with Romanian films, folk dances, concerts by Irina Rimes and the Osoianu Sisters, Zdob and Zdub, Emeric Imre Trio, Maria Tanase Tribute (Mariano Castro & Alexandra Fits) and a dialogue between Father Constantin Necula and journalist Cătălin Striblea.

The official kick-off will be at 12:00 on Saturday, after a tour of the small producers and artisans by Her Majesty Margareta, Romania's Crown Custodian, His Royal Highness Radu, Prince Consort of Romania, several officials, central and local authorities and Profi representatives. All the activation areas inside the festival have names reminiscent of the traditional Romanian village, from Ulița Copiilor (Children's Ulița), through Târgul Târului Satului and Hanul Târgoveților, to Drumul Artisanilor.

Admission to the Romanian Soul Festival is free on April 26 and 27, from 12:00 - 19:00. Participation in all festival activities is free of charge and access to the Domeniul Regal Săvârșin can be gained through the gate on the DC74, in the Troaș Valley.

The event is for the whole family, with several workshops and surprises reserved for children.

Suflet de România Festival encourages the community to connect with the authentic values, good tastes and traditions of the Romanian village through experiences lived in a natural setting where the rural world is recreated.
