The role of the 23rd Police Station in Bucharest is to ensure public safety in its sector, having as its main activities the prevention and combating of crime. Among the crimes they deal with are theft, street assaults and economic crime. Officers from the station work to maintain a climate of order and safety, including through regular patrols and rapid interventions.

In addition, Precinct 23 runs public education and prevention campaigns, working closely with the local community to reduce the risk of crime. They also actively support victims of domestic violence, emphasizing protection of the vulnerable and emergency interventions.
