The main responsibility of Bucharest Police Station 13 is to maintain public order and ensure the safety of citizens in its area of competence. The officers of the section are in charge of preventing and combating crime, including theft, street violence and economic crime, as well as road safety, through patrols and rapid intervention.

In addition to these duties, Precinct 13 is actively involved in public education and crime prevention activities, working closely with the local community to create a safer environment. The precinct's officers are also committed to protecting victims of domestic violence and providing emergency support.
