Bucharest Police Station 8 is located in Sector 3 and is responsible for maintaining public order and the safety of citizens in this area. The station's main activities include preventing and combating crimes such as theft, street violence and economic crime, as well as ensuring road safety through patrols and traffic interventions.

Precinct 8 is also involved in crime prevention and public education campaigns, encouraging citizens to work with law enforcement to create a safer environment. Precinct officers are also a support for victims of domestic violence and handle emergency situations in the sector.
