Bucharest 2nd Sector Police is responsible for maintaining public order, citizen safety and crime prevention in its area of jurisdiction. Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Bucharest Police (DGPMB), it works with local and national structures to fight crime and enforce the law. The Sector 2 Police includes several police stations, each with specific duties depending on the neighborhoods they serve. They also carry out patrol, investigation and community outreach activities to improve public safety.
