Reptiland Bucharest opened in June 2023, at Bulevardul Expoziției no. 1C, across from the Romexpo parking lot, close to Piața Presei Libere. It's the largest live reptile exhibition in Romania and, according to the people who run it, the only concept of its kind in Southeastern Europe.

Across 1,000 square meters live more than 70 live reptiles, spanning over 45 species, in automated terrariums and vivariums built to mirror their native habitats — from desert to rainforest. It's also home to the largest reticulated python on display in Romania, six meters long and 60 kilograms. Among the exhibits is the country's largest paludarium, a layered ecosystem with plants and reptiles above the waterline and fish and poison dart frogs swimming below, plus a section devoted to the Amazon rainforest, lit in neon with mist generated by ultrasound.

Beyond the visit itself, the venue runs terrarium-building workshops, supervised interaction with tarantulas, and a club for kids aged 7 to 15 who are into reptiles. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and those under 4 get in free. People with disabilities get free entry, along with one accompanying family member; the venue is ground-floor, no stairs.

Visiting hours run Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Tickets can be bought at reception or online through bilete.reptiland.ro, and the venue accepts the Edenred, Pluxee, and Up România cultural cards. There's no on-site parking, but there's a paid lot across the street, at 5 lei per hour.
