Metallica and Iron Maiden to perform in Bucharest in May

One of the most eagerly awaited moments of 2026 is Metallica’s concert, scheduled for May 13, 2026, at the National Arena in Bucharest. The event is part of the band’s M72 World Tour and promises a large-scale show with impressive technical production.

The concert will feature special guests such as Gojira and Knocked Loose, important names on the international metal scene. Organizers have announced a central stage setup, enhanced visibility, and an audio-visual experience designed specifically for stadium venues.

Also in May, on May 28, 2026, Bucharest will host Iron Maiden, one of the longest-running and most influential heavy metal bands. The concert will also take place at the National Arena and is part of an international tour marking key moments in the band’s career.
