Apollo111 is an independent, urban theatre located in a repurposed industrial space inside the historic Universul Palace, just off Calea Victoriei. A vibrant cultural landmark, it is known for its bold and contemporary repertoire, with a strong focus on new Romanian playwriting and radical reinterpretations of classic texts. Its productions are often raw, direct, and emotionally charged, addressing themes such as urban alienation, intimacy, politics, and the Millennial/Gen Z experience.
The venue features a minimalist, immersive stage design, blurring the lines between audience and performance to heighten theatrical intensity. Beyond the stage, Apollo111 includes a bar-space that functions as a cultural hub for artists, creatives, and young professionals. Tickets are available online, and the theatre is easily accessible from the Universitate–Cișmigiu area, in Sector 1. Apollo111 is more than a theatre—it's a statement of artistic identity.
