The police of Bucharest's Sector 5 is located in a dynamic and complex area, with the responsibility of maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of citizens in this sector. Officers are involved in fighting crime of all types, from theft, street crime and acts of violence, to economic crime and traffic offenses.

In addition to prevention and intervention activities, the Sector 5 Police actively collaborates with the local community, running crime prevention and education campaigns. This includes measures to protect victims of domestic violence, intervening quickly and effectively in emergency cases to ensure the safety of those affected.
