Bucharest's Section 4 Police is responsible for ensuring public order and safety in the area of Sector 4. It covers a significant part of the capital and deals with a variety of activities, including crime prevention and fighting, road safety and citizen protection.

Precinct 4 is in charge of investigating crimes of various types, ranging from theft and acts of violence to economic or traffic offenses. They are also involved in rapid intervention in emergencies, patrolling residential and commercial areas, as well as managing conflicts that may arise in the sector.

Another important aspect of Precinct 4's work is crime prevention, through educational campaigns and public awareness actions. Officers work to strengthen relations with the community, encouraging citizens to work with law enforcement to increase public safety.

Precinct 4 also focuses on road safety, with patrols dedicated to traffic monitoring and accident prevention. It is also actively involved in combating domestic violence and protecting the rights of victims.
