Bucharest Police Station 17 is responsible for ensuring public order and protecting citizens in its area of competence. Police officers are actively involved in preventing and combating crimes of all kinds, including theft, acts of violence, economic crime and traffic violations.

In addition, Precinct 17 places particular emphasis on public education and crime prevention, organizing risk awareness campaigns and encouraging close cooperation with the community. The officers of this precinct are also active in protecting victims of domestic violence, providing them with the necessary support and intervening promptly in emergencies.
