The Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Romania, based in Bucharest, plays a key role in strengthening diplomatic, economic and cultural relations between Norway and Romania. Besides Romania, the embassy also covers the Republic of Moldova and Bulgaria. 

The Embassy provides consular services for Norwegian citizens in these countries, as well as assistance in obtaining visas and residence permits for those wishing to travel or settle in Norway. It also promotes bilateral cooperation in areas such as business, education and culture, facilitating exchanges and partnerships between institutions and organizations in Norway and Romania. 

The Embassy is active in promoting Norwegian values, organizing events and initiatives that highlight Norway's commitment to human rights, gender equality and environmental sustainability. Through EEA and Norwegian Grants, the Embassy supports local projects aiming at social and economic development, contributing to reducing disparities and strengthening civil society in Romania.

 Monday - Thursday: 09:00 - 16:00. Friday: 09.00-15.30.
