"Dragomir Hurmuzescu" Technological High School

The "Dragomir Hurmuzescu" Technological High School in Bucharest is an educational institution with a long tradition in the vocational and technical training of young people. Founded on September 1, 1969 under the name of "Republica" School Group, the high school initially had the mission to train specialists in various technical fields, through high school, vocational school, post-secondary school and school of foremen. 

Over the years, graduates of this institution have been successfully integrated into the labor market, working in companies such as Uzina Republica, Neferal, Grivița Roșie, Țevi Sudate, ICEM and Laromet. Many of them continued their studies in higher education, thus contributing to the economic and technological development of the country. 

Currently, the "Dragomir Hurmuzescu" Technological High School offers a diversified range of educational programs, adapted to the current requirements of the labor market. These include:

  •     High school education: day and evening courses in areas such as economics, aesthetics and hygiene of the human body, automotive electronics, mechanics and electromechanics.
  •     Vocational school: specializations such as welding and CNC machine operators.
  •     Post-secondary school: advanced programs to train technicians in various specializations. 

In order to ensure a solid practical training, the secondary school collaborates with various companies and institutions, offering students opportunities for internships and practical training in the real work environment. It also regularly organizes competitions
