Located in Sector 3, on 1 Decembrie 1918 Boulevard, School No. 22 “Mexic” provides both primary and lower secondary education in a modest but community-oriented environment. In 2024, students scored an average of 4.52 at the National Assessment, with 4.89 in Romanian Language and 4.16 in Mathematics, placing the school 4952 nationally. The school is equipped with a medical office and a well-fitted dental clinic, which is relatively rare among public schools. 

The name “Mexic” stems from an educational partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, established in 2000, when the institution was officially renamed. Teachers later received recognition from the Mexican Senate for promoting cultural ties. Over the years, the school has hosted cultural events and received Spanish-language educational materials, using cultural diversity as a learning resource, even in the face of modest academic results.
