Club A is perhaps the best known club in Bucharest, and that's because it is also the oldest student club in Romania. Club A was founded in the 1960s, in a period of relative political openness, a year after Charles de Gaulle's visit to Bucharest.
The Architecture Students' Club, initially a closed-circuit club where only architecture students and their guests could enter, has been, since 1969, the most exclusive and breathable destination in Bucharest and in Romania's popular power, and is still today a symbol of culture and intellectual freedom in Bucharest.
The club is known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse cultural events and live music support, providing a space where creativity and free expression are encouraged.
