Bucharest marks Valentine’s Day with a wide range of cultural and entertainment events scheduled around February 14, 2026. From live concerts and themed performances to art exhibitions and dance shows, the city offers options for couples as well as for those looking for alternatives to the traditional romantic dinner.

Concerts and Live Music

Among the headline events is Valentin Sanfira – “Când două inimi se unesc” (“When Two Hearts Unite”), taking place at Sala Palatului from 7:00 PM, promoted as a music show dedicated to love.

At Sala Dalles, audiences can attend a Candlelight – Special Valentine’s Day Concert, set in an intimate atmosphere illuminated by candles.

For pop and dance fans, AKCENT will perform at Hard Rock Cafe, while PUBLIKA takes the stage at The PUB Trocadero.

In addition, ONE Club hosts a Valentine’s Day special featuring Carmen Chindriș & Taraful Rutenilor, offering a live music experience for those who prefer a festive, upbeat atmosphere.

Theatre and Dance

Cultural institutions across the city include romantic-themed productions in their programs. At Teatrul Stela Popescu, the comedy “Cerere în căsătorie” (“A Marriage Proposal”) is scheduled for Valentine’s Day.

At Teatrelli (Creart), audiences can experience tango in the performance “Maria de Buenos Aires”, scheduled for Monday at 7:00 PM, bringing the passionate spirit of Argentine tango to the stage.

Exhibitions Open Around Valentine’s Day

For visitors interested in art and culture, The Brâncovenești Palaces (Mogoșoaia) host the exhibition “Frumusețea va salva lumea” (“Beauty Will Save the World”), open daily between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

At the National Museum of Romanian Literature, the exhibition “Povești scrise în zbor” (“Stories Written in Flight”) remains open to the public until February 15.

Special Dinners and Themed Parties

Restaurants and hotels across Bucharest are offering dedicated Valentine’s Day menus. Avalon Restaurant at the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel is organizing a themed dinner, while Sky Lounge & Bar provides a dining experience with panoramic city views.

Clubs throughout the city also host themed parties, including “Love Night” at Princess Club, catering to both couples and groups of friends, as well as those who prefer a less traditional way of spending February 14.

Bucharest’s Valentine’s Day 2026 lineup spans concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and dining experiences, offering multiple ways to mark the occasion. Organizers recommend checking updated schedules and booking in advance due to increased demand for the holiday.
