Bucharest Police Station 5 is responsible for maintaining public order and citizen safety in Sector 5, a densely populated urban area. It deals with a wide range of activities, including crime prevention, rapid intervention in emergencies and crime investigation.

Precinct 5 is responsible for public safety and tackles street crime, such as theft, acts of violence, economic crime and traffic offenses. Police officers from Precinct 5 are also actively involved in preventing and combating domestic violence and protecting victims of such crimes.

Precinct 5 frequently runs crime prevention campaigns, educating the public and promoting closer cooperation between citizens and local authorities. Police patrols are often visible in Sector 5 neighborhoods to ensure a safer environment and deter crime.

Section 5 also collaborates with other institutions and structures within the Bucharest Police in order to respond quickly and efficiently to any emergency situation or crime that may arise.
