Herăstrău Park, also known as King Michael I Park, is one of the largest, most beautiful and most offering parks in the capital, being the ideal place for relaxation, sports and recreation.

Herăstrău Park
covers some 200 hectares and offers a wide range of activities for all ages.

The park's biggest attraction is, of course, the Herăstrău lake in the center of the park. Here you can enjoy boating, kayaking and fishing. For those who don't have any interest in water, there are the perfect areas for skateboarders, the bike rental center, the adventure park with various trails or the children's playgrounds.

What not to miss in the park: Michael Jackson Alley - inaugurated in 2009, dedicated to the legendary pop artist, "Dimitrie Gusti" Village Museum, Summer Theater or Caryatids Alley. We also recommend two absolutely fascinating corners of nature: the Japanese Garden, which offers a zen experience with elements of traditional Japanese design, and the Rose Island, where you can admire different varieties of roses in a romantic setting.

In addition to its natural beauty, Herăstrău Park also hosts many cultural and entertainment events. Concerts, craft fairs and open-air exhibitions are frequently organized here, transforming the park into a vibrant center of Bucharest's social and cultural life.
