Băneasa Zoo, located in Sector 1, Bucharest, is the largest and oldest zoo in the capital. Opened in 1955, it is home to an impressive variety of mammals, birds, reptiles and fish from all over the world.
Visitors can discover exotic animals such as lions, tigers, zebras and monkeys, as well as species native to Romania. The park is an ideal place for families, offering educational activities and areas to relax in nature.
