Special Vocational School "St. Nicholas" in Bucharest is one of the largest special education institutions in the capital, dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs. Founded in 1969, the school offers an educational environment adapted to the individual needs of each student, promoting inclusion and personal development.

The institution has modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, psychology and speech therapy rooms, a sports hall, practical workshops and a multi-sensory stimulation room. These facilities allow a complex educational process to take place, combining theoretical and practical activities, which are essential for the vocational training of students.

Pupils do not participate in the standard National Assessment, as is the case in traditional secondary schools, which is why no overall averages are published in public statistics. Progress is assessed on an individualized basis, according to each pupil's abilities and pace, in a system that values personal development over competition.
