Secondary School No. 71, located at 148 Calea Moșilor, Sector 2, Bucharest, is an institution with a rich history dating back to 1826. Over the years, it has operated under various names and hosted several educational institutions, including the "Zoe Romniceanu" Girls' Commercial High School and the "George Coșbuc" High School. Since 1972, the school has been operating at its current location, and in 1995, it was named after the Serbian diplomat and poet Jovan Dučić, who served as Yugoslavia's first ambassador to Romania between 1938 and 1940 .
In 2024, students from Secondary School No. 71 achieved an average score of 5.64 in the National Evaluation, indicating a slight decrease compared to the previous year.
The school is accredited under the Erasmus+ program for the period 2021–2027, providing opportunities for mobility and professional development for both teachers and students. In the 2006–2007 academic year, the institution received a grant from the Ministry of Education and Research, which was used to equip a state-of-the-art multimedia lab.
