Located in Sector 1, at 34 Ardealului Street, in the Bucureștii Noi neighborhood, Școala Gimnazială No. 179 offers primary and lower secondary education for students aged 6 to 14. The school is actively involved in educational and environmental projects and is part of the ECO-SCHOOLS network.
In the past, the school operated on a three-shift schedule, but following investments made by the Sector 1 City Hall, a modular building was added, creating 8 new classrooms and eliminating the need for multiple shifts (zf.ro).
