Școala Gimnazială No. 183 in Bucharest, located on Strada Dunei no. 1 in Sector 1, is a public educational institution offering preschool, primary, and lower secondary education. With a staff of 48 employees and approximately 415 students, the school promotes an inclusive and modern educational environment, guided by its motto: "Nature makes us alike. Education makes us different." 

In recent years, the school has undergone significant modernizations, including the replacement of furniture, renovation of classrooms and restrooms, and redecoration of common spaces. These improvements were made possible through funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), as part of a broader project aimed at digitizing and equipping schools in Sector 1.

The school is actively involved in educational and environmental projects, being part of the ECO Schools network. Recent evaluations show good performance in water quality (4/5) and sanitary facilities (5/5), though there are challenges concerning air quality (1/5) and energy efficiency (2/5) 

Regarding academic achievements, the school's average score in the 2024 National Evaluation was 5.56, with 6.12 in Romanian Language and 5.00 in Mathematics, indicating a moderate level of academic performance.
