Pia Brătianu Middle School is an educational institution with a tradition spanning over a century. Founded in 1922 by the Brătianu family and donated to the Romanian state in 1925, the school was originally established to train educators, featuring a boarding school, a kindergarten, and facilities that were modern for their time.

Today, the school provides students with a modern educational environment, offering 28 classrooms equipped with smart boards, computer and language laboratories, a medical office, a sports hall, and an amphitheater. Active participation in European projects such as Erasmus+ highlights the institution’s strong commitment to innovation and continuous development.

In the context of the increasing number of students, the City Hall of Sector 1 initiated the expansion of the school with six new classrooms to ensure optimal learning conditions and reduce overcrowding in the school program.
