"Miguel de Cervantes" Bilingual High School in Bucharest is an educational institution with over 65 years of tradition, founded in 1959. It is the first high school in the country with intensive Spanish language teaching in primary and secondary school and bilingual teaching in high school. The school offers primary, secondary and high school education with a special emphasis on the study of Spanish language and culture. Since the 2004/2005 school year, under a bilateral agreement between the Spanish Ministry of Education and the Romanian Ministry of Education, the secondary school benefits from the presence of a Spanish teacher who teaches specialized subjects such as Spanish Geography, Spanish History and Spanish Art History. The educational offer includes specializations such as Mathematics, Computer Science and Philology, both standard and intensive in Spanish.
