The "Alexandru Vlahuță" Theoretical High School is an educational institution with a long history, located in the Floreasca neighborhood in Sector 1 of Bucharest. Founded in 1891 as the "Mixed Primary School of Cătunul Floreasca, Comuna Băneasa", the school has evolved over the years, becoming a high school in 1999. 

It offers primary, middle and high school education, ensuring educational continuity for its students. The main specialization of the secondary school is Philology, with Romanian and German. In 2024, the admission average for this specialization was 8.67. 

In terms of academic performance, in 2024 the high school recorded an average of 8.65 in the baccalaureate exam, with a 100% pass rate. 

The institution has 23 classrooms, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, computer room, gym, canteen, library, dental and medical offices. It also offers a semi-boarding program for primary school students.
