The German College "Goethe" is a state educational institution with a tradition of over 250 years, dedicated to promoting German language and culture in Bucharest. Originally founded as a school of the Evangelical/Protestant community, the college has evolved over the centuries to become an educational landmark for the German minority and beyond. All subjects are taught in German, with the exception of Romanian and other foreign languages, thus ensuring full immersion in the German linguistic environment. Students have the opportunity to obtain both the Romanian baccalaureate diploma and internationally recognized certifications, such as the "Deutsches Sprachdiplom", facilitating access to universities in Germany, Austria and other countries. With a team of dedicated teaching staff and strong international partnerships, Goethe German College offers an excellent educational environment for those interested in a multicultural and multilingual education.
