  • General Information: Inaugurated in 1978, the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital was originally conceived as a modern general hospital, strategically located in the center of the capital, on Splaiul Independenței. It quickly became a center of medical excellence and an important hub of university medical education. SUUB is one of the largest emergency hospitals in Romania, offering a wide range of medical services in specialties such as cardiology, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology and oncology. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including for high-performance imaging and minimally invasive interventions, and has a nationally recognized multidisciplinary team.
  • Program: Emergencies are available 24/7, outpatient consultations by physician scheduling. Visiting hours: Monday to Friday, 14.00-18.00, Saturday-Sunday, 12.00-18.00, and in the ICU ward, the visiting hours for relatives are daily, 12.00-13.00.
