Școala Gimnazială – Liceul Tehnologic “Sfântul Pantelimon”, located in Sector 2, Bucharest, is a combined middle school and technical high school with a clear identity — one that goes beyond academics.
What truly sets it apart is its long-standing focus on football education. The school has an accredited vocational track: Sports Instructor – Football, and for over 40 years it’s been affiliated with national youth programs, including the “Luceafărul” project under the Romanian Football Federation. Some of Romania’s top players — including Gheorghe Hagi, Cosmin Contra, and Denis Drăguș — have passed through its halls.
That’s why a mural of a football player isn’t just decoration — it’s part of the school’s legacy. Students regularly take part in national and international tournaments like the Danone Nations Cup, with notable performances.
Academically, the school is equipped with modern classrooms, IT and science labs, a sports hall, a school counselor’s office, and a large courtyard. In 2024, students achieved an average score of 6.85 in the National Evaluation, with slightly stronger results in Romanian than in math.
Classes run in two daily shifts:
- Morning: 07:30 – 13:10
- Afternoon: 13:30 – 19:10
