Monterra - Montessori Kindergarten and Montessori School is a private educational institution, founded in 2010 and accredited by the Ministry of Education, offering educational programs based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy. The headquarters located at 77 Icoanei Street, sector 2, Bucharest, houses the middle school level of the school, while other locations cover kindergarten and primary cycle. Education is centered on respecting each child's own pace, developing autonomy and harmonious relationships with others. The daily program starts at 8:00, with options of medium program until 13:00 and long program until 18:00. For children between 3 and 6 years old, the monthly fee for the medium program is 2,900 lei (including lunch) and for the long program 3,700 lei (including lunch, school supplies and extracurricular activities). An annual administrative fee of 4,000 lei is payable upon enrolment. For secondary level, the annual fee is 35,000 lei, with the possibility of paying in full, in three installments or in nine monthly installments. The fees include the National Curriculum study program, mentoring, uniform, Cambridge exams, English textbooks and extra-curricular activities, but meals and school supplies are not included.
