The "Constantin Brâncoveanu" Theoretical High School is an educational institution with a tradition of over 60 years, located in the Pajura neighborhood in Sector 1 of Bucharest. Originally founded in 1954-1956 as "Mixed Secondary School No. 6 - Costeasca", the high school went through various transformations, becoming "Theoretical High School No. 6" between 1956 and 1972, then "Theoretical High School "Dumitru Petrescu" until 1976, followed by "Industrial High School "Dumitru Petrescu" until 1990, when it adopted its current name. The institution offers a wide range of specializations, including Mathematics-Informatics, Natural Sciences, Philology and Social Sciences, tailored to the needs and interests of students. In 2024, admission averages for these majors ranged from 8.25 to 8.65, reflecting a high academic standard. The high school includes only high-school cycle, providing an educational environment conducive to students' academic and personal development.
