Bulgarian Theoretical High School "Hristo Botev

The Bulgarian Theoretical High School "Hristo Botev" is a state educational institution in Bucharest, founded in 1998 through an agreement between Romania and Bulgaria. The high school offers education in Romanian, with Bulgarian as a compulsory subject. Starting with the 2005-2006 school year, the institution changed its name to the Bulgarian Theoretical High School "Hristo Botev" and inaugurated a consolidated and renovated building, providing a favorable environment for the educational process. On September 10, 2005, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Hellenic Community in Romania and the high school, allowing for the establishment of classes with the teaching of the non-Greek language in the 2006-2007 school year. 

This school includes secondary and high school cycles, ensuring educational continuity for its students. The educational offer includes specializations such as Mathematics-Computer Science and Philology, with teaching in Bulgarian, Neogreaca, Russian and Rromani languages. In 2024, the admission averages ranged from 6.27 for the specialization Mathematics-Computer Science to 7.95 for Philology with Bulgarian language teaching. 

In terms of academic performance, in 2024, the high school had a baccalaureate exam average of 7.15, with a pass rate of 80.9%.
