Holy Bakery

By Bucharest Team

  • LOCATION

Holy Bakery isn’t just a place to take a break with a baguette and a croissant – it’s a declaration of love for true, honest bread. Founded by Robert and his wife after culinary experiences in Spain, the bakery brings to Bucharest time-honored recipes, passed down through generations – Robert’s father having been a baker himself.

What makes Holy Bakery special

  • Quality flours – they use authentic, stone-milled flour, for a texture and flavor that tell a story.
  • Slow fermentation – the dough rises naturally, without industrial boosters, intensifying both aroma and nutritional value.
  • Generous selection – you’ll find rustic country loaves, ciabatta, delicate croissants, cinnamon swirls, cookies, and other pastries – all priced between 15 and 30 lei.
  • Boutique scale – everything is handcrafted in small daily batches, and the intimate space maintains a homely, familiar feel.

Atmosphere & service

The bakery is a small workshop with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. In the display cases, buttery croissants sit alongside tarts, handmade cookies, and sweet pastries, inviting you to relax and enjoy your treat on the spot with a coffee or tea. (Home delivery is in the works.)
