The 17th edition of the KINOdiseea International Film Festival for Young Audiences begins!

The 17th edition of KINOdiseea Competition, the most beloved international film festival dedicated to children and teenagers, takes place at Cinema Muzeul Țăranului, Sala Gloria, the Armenian Cultural Center, and Playouth Ludoteca.
Admission is free for all film screenings and festival activities. For Cinema Muzeul Țăranului and Sala Gloria, seat reservations are required at eventbook.ro/festival/kinodiseea. No reservation is needed for the Armenian Cultural Center.
The KINOdiseea 2025 competition features five remarkable international productions, bringing to the screen touching stories about courage and friendship:
• Hola Frida, directed by André Kadi
• The Badgers / Grevlingene (Jderii: Cercetașii Curajoși), directed by Paul Magnus Lundø
• Victoria Must Die / Victoria må dø, directed by Gunnbjörg Gunnarsdóttir
• A Girl Named Willow / Ein Mädchen namens Willow, directed by Mike Marzuk
• Heidi – The Legend of the Lynx / Heidi – Die Legende vom Luchs, directed by Toby Schwarz
This year’s jury — Ada Condeescu, Adela Popescu, and Laura Cosoi — will select the winners of the competition.
Beyond the competing films, the festival offers a diverse range of educational and creative activities:
• Parent conferences on digital topics and child development
• Armenian reading and creative writing workshops with Ligia Keșișian and Iulian Tănase
• Stop-motion animation sessions with Lulu Trăsnea
• Special acting workshops with jury members Ada Condeescu, Laura Cosoi, and Adela Popescu
Participants can also enjoy magic shows with Teo Magic Show and fun science workshops with CONI – Vulcan Party and Slime Party, which combine play and discovery.
