Bucharest Police Station 2 is one of the most important units of the Capital Police and its role is to ensure public order and prevent crime in the area of jurisdiction of Sector 1. Covering a densely urbanized area, the precinct faces a wide range of challenges, from small-scale crimes (theft, acts of violence) to more complex cases, including economic and organized crime.
Precinct 2 has a key role in patrolling neighborhoods, responding to emergencies, as well as investigating more serious crime. It works closely with other Romanian Police structures, but also with local authorities and non-governmental organizations to ensure a safe and secure environment for citizens.
In addition, Section 2 is actively involved in various crime prevention campaigns, educating the public and encouraging community collaboration with law enforcement to combat crime.
One of the important characteristics of the precinct is its safety-oriented approach to roadway safety and accident prevention, especially in high traffic areas. It also carries out specific activities to prevent domestic violence and other social crimes.
